TCC
Electronic Entry Policy
Southern California Swimming (SCS) is making a change
in how swimmers enter swim meets. As of January 2006, SCS is requiring
all entries be done electronically.
Effective October 2005, The
Claremont Club Swim Team (TCC)
will enter all team swim meets electronically. You will no longer
need to fill out white/blue cards to enter SCS competitions. All
final entries will be made by the TCC
coaching staff and sent electronically to each meet processor.
We will be using DirectAthletics.com
to help assist with this new meet entry process. Each swimmer (not
family) will be given a login user name and access password for
DirectAthletics.com.
To enter a meet:

Go to DirectAthletics.com.

You will
click on the desired meet and then select the desired events.
Each meet will have an entry deadline that is approximately
10 days prior to published meet deadline. Meet events will be
open, only to enter, prior to the selected deadline which will
be noted on directathletics.com. There will be no exceptions
once deadline passes.

Coaches
will complete final entries, make any necessary changes, enter
relays and send the team entry to the meet host.

No late
entries will be accepted.

Each swimmer
(not family) will have an escrow account from which meet entry
fees and relay fees will be drawn. The escrow account balance
for each swimmer will be $50.00. Once meet entry fees are drawn
from your account, you will be billed for those charges so that
your account balance remains at $50.00. You will be billed and
fees will be due immediately. A payment box will be located
in the TCC swim
office. A late charge of $10.00 will be applied 10 days after
billing. There will be no exceptions on late fees.

Escrow accounts
will be established by September 16, 2005. An administrative
fee per account will be charged annually in the amount of $35.00.
This fee will be due by September 16th of each year.

that everyone assists in making this transition in SCS policy as
